Robert Webb
The Peep Show star introduces his new book, How Not to be a Boy. It’s part-memoir, part call-to-arms and examines the absurd stereotypical expectations boys and men have thrust upon them at every stage of life. Webb looks back to his schoolboy crushes (on girls and boys), to a world of fighting, pointless posturing and the insistence that he stop crying. He recounts discovering the power of making people laugh as an adult (in the Cambridge Footlights with David Mitchell); and goes on to consider the effects losing his beloved mother, and becoming a husband and father had on him.
