This popular multi-artform night is nearing its fourth year and this month they’ve got hilarious spoken word poet and clown Justin Cliffe across the Bridge from Newport with Hippopotomouth, as well as a short play from Papatango-prize winning playwright Matt Grinter.
There’s also an extract of a new storytelling from the Alma Tavern Theatre’s in-house company Schoolhouse Productions member Jennifer Jope, plus music from Josh Lucas, artistic director of Running Dog Company, and who was previously behind the touchingly lovely Wanna Dance With Somebody at the Wardrobe.
