The Friends of Redland Library host their latest Desert Island Books evening on the theme of Books and Travel.

Guests are: Jean Burnett (novelist, travel writer), Professor Helen Fulton (head of English Depart., University of Bristol), Professor Robin Jarvis (Emeritus Professor of English Literature, UWE), Mike Manson (writer, historian).

The panelists will select one book on the main theme for the event; and a second ‘wildcard book’, a book that they have enjoyed and would recommend to others.
