- Jamali Maddix, Fin Taylor, Phil Wang
A night of pure, political, straight-shooting political comedy exploring the West’s tense new political atmosphere presented by Fin Taylor. Rising to meet the challenge of these new times are:
Jamali Maddix, star of UK TV network Viceland with his show Hate Thy Neighbour, where Jamali meets extremists from across the world. It’s been picked up in the US and Jamali is fresh off the back of appearances on Live At the Apollo and 8 out of 10 Cats here in the UK.
Phil Wang has also appeared on Live At the Apollo as well as Have I Got News For You and Russell Howard’s Stand-up Central, and is currently enjoying a meteoric rise to the top of the UK comedy scene. Expect some juicy material from his new tour show, about globalisation and the Empire, from his perspective as a British Malaysian.
is needed now More than ever
Fin Taylor is a former Bristol resident whose 2016 show Whitey McWhiteface was a no-holds-barred look at white privilege, with five-star reviews from The Scotsman and The Independent. “Gleefully provocative and brutally funny,” said The Guardian.
