Bristol Come Dancing 2019

Date: Saturday, Mar 23 2019
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: The Pennywell Project

Saturday, 23 March is the finale of a hard-fought battle. The battle of dance. More specifically, Bristol locals have undergone weeks of training to master the moves and grooves of salsa and swing.

The glitzy event is being held at the Pennywell Project to raise funds for Aid Box Community and Temwa, and the evening will be hosted by Bristol-favourites Edson Burton and Lottie Ball. Briony May, of Great British Bake Off fame will be among the judges and Lord Mayor Cleo Lake is one of the contestants.

If that wasn’t enough, there will be live DJs and a chance to vote for the winner. There will be food and drink available, an Aid Box Community clothing sale and an art installation by Illumaphonium.

With a chance to witness some great dance moves on a specially-created dance floor, rest in the knowledge that the funds raised will go towards improving lives in Bristol and northern Malawi. Briony summed it up, saying: “This is set to be an incredible night of sequins, glamour and raucousness all with a healthy dash of Bristol’s special ingredient. Can’t wait to see what the contestants will be bringing to the party on the night.”
