He’s a warrior residing on a brutal prehistoric Earth, facing off against all kinds of hybrid dinosaurs and nasty tribesman. But who is Mr. Yor and why does he wear a gold medallion and have memories of a hottie princess locked away in a fortress? From the director of such schlock as Cannibals in the Streets, Killer Fish and Long Hair of Death, this shonky Italian-French-Turkish co-production from 1983 attempts to weld together the likes of Conan the Barbarian, Quest for Fire and Star Wars by combining cavemen, dinosaurs and spaceships on a tiny budget. Watch out for former Bond girl Corinne Clery and the granddad from Troll 2. History records that Yor, the Hunter from the Future was nominated for three Golden Raspberry Awards: Worst New Star (Reb Brown), Worst Musical Score and Worst Original Song (Yor’s World).
