Running Time

Bristol Radical Film Festival celebrates the centenary of the Russian Revolution with a double bill that kicks off with the very first UK screening of Tsar to Lenin: Herman Axelbank‘s 1937 documentary containing much original footage, which was suppressed in the US because of pressure from Russia in the 1930s and by anti-communist witch hunters in the 1950s.

This is followed by Revolution: New Art for a New World: Margy Kinmouth‘s documentary about the impact of the Russian Revolution on the country’s artists. Go here for tickets.
