Few people on this side of the pond had heard of octogenarian U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg until the Trumpster nominated that, ahem, somewhat unappetising Brett Kavanaugh bloke as the newest of the nine justices.
That leaves the increasingly frail Ginsburg as the most senior justice on the court’s left wing, causing liberals to hold their breath. If and when she carks it, Trump will appoint another right-winger and American women can probably wave goodbye to abortion rights.
