In 1995, in the midst of the Algerian Civil War, Fatima, a middle-aged masseuse runs a hammam where local women meet to bare their bodies – and their souls – freed from the restrictions society sets on them and with no topic off-limit. But can this haven protect them from the bombs outside and the harsh realities of a woman’s role in Algeria?
