Riz Ahmed stars in this much-acclaimed drama about a metal drummer and former heroin addict who loses his hearing. His bandmate and girlfriend Lou (Olivia Cooke) helps him to find a suppportive rural community of people with the same condition.

Sound of Metal was nominated for six Academy Awards but only won two technical gongs, for its editing and immersive sound design.
