Ivo van Hove directs a new stage adaptation of the quotably bitchy 1950 Bette Davis classic by Joseph L Mankiewicz and the play The Wisdom of Eve by Mary Orr. Gillian Anderson is cast as aging leading lady Margo Channing, who fears she’s about to be knocked off her perch by the eponymous scheming ingénue (Lily James). The music is by P.J. Harvey.

It’s broadcast live from the West End on April 11, with encore screenings to follow.
