Hard on the heels of the RSC’s reworking of the Bard’s great tragedy as a dark psychological thriller comes Rufus Norris‘s gory, post-apocalyptic production at the NT, which, it’s fair to say, has opened to some pretty stinky reviews.

It’s only The Threepennny Opera and London Road director Norris’s second bash at the bard. His cast includes Rory Kinnear in the title role and Anne-Marie Duff as Lady Macbeth. The play was recorded at the NT’s huge Olivier Stage.
