Royal Opera House Live: Don Quixote

Certificate
12A
Running Time
165 mins

Miguel de Cervantes‘ enduringly popular novel about the adventures of bumbling knight Don Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho Panza was adapted by 19th century Russian choreographer Marius Petipa, with music by Ludwig Minkus.

This revival of Carlos Acosta‘s suitably exuberant 2013 production for the Royal Ballet – which adds onstage musicians and new choreography for the gypsy scene in Act II – is broadcast live from Covent Garden on February 19, with encore screenings to follow.
