Royal Opera House Live: La Boheme

Certificate
12A
Running Time
150 mins

A quartet of bohos share a grim garret in 1830s Paris. On Christmas Eve, poet Rodolfo is visited by neighbour Mimi and they promptly fall in love. But – hey! – this is opera, so misery can’t be far away.

First staged back in 2017, the ROH’s latest production is by Richard Jones, of Boris Godunov and Il trittico fame, boasting spectacular, stylised designs by Stewart Laing. The talented young cast includes Sonya Yoncheva, Charles Castronovo, Andrzej Filończyk and Aida Garifullina.
