Following the success of the Curzon’s epic Potterthon last year, the sturdy of bottom have a treat in store as the historic cinema whacks extended editions of all three of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films back on the big screen.

It all kicks off at midday and ends at midnight, with two much-needed intervals: a 30 minute one after The Two Towers and a 15 minute one halfway through The Return of the King. Dressing up is positively encouraged.
