Crikey – is it really 25 years since the launch of the Black Pyramid film and video project and its accompanying festival? Indeed it is. History records that the fest kicked off with Just Another Girl on the I.R.T., which returns for this year’s Cinema Rediscovered. This event is part of the Bristol UNESCO City of Film strand and takes the form of an illustrated panel discussion bringing together founding members of Black Pyramid in collaboration with Come the Revolution (someting of a successor organisation) to discuss progress in representation and diversity in black and ethnic minority filmmaking since that first festival back in August 1993
