Screened in the Women on the Periphery strand of Cinema Rediscovered, this trio of short films by women reflect on notions of British sovreignty and identity.

The programme comprises Joanna Quinn’s award-winning animation Britannia (pictured); Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha‘s groundbreaking documentary, I’m British But…; and Fatima’s Letter – a personal account of journeying between two worlds as doors open and close on the London Underground.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Tara Judah, Watershed Cinema Producer and Cinema Rediscovered co-curator, and Karen Alexander, Autograph ABP.
