The best of the late George A. Romero’s zombie flicks and, indeed, one of the greatest horror films ever made, this magnificent satire on consumerism sees the marauding undead cornering a bunch of survivors inside a giant US shopping mall. After seeing this, you’ll find it impossible to set foot in Tesco again without humming the mall’s catchy little jingle.
Amusingly, one of the venues in which it’s being revived is the Showcase Cinema De Lux, in the heart of the Cabot Circus mall.
