Cinema Rediscovered: The Terminal Man

Director
Mike Hodges
Certificate
15
Running Time
107 mins

Psycho George Segal has a tiddly computer embedded in his noggin to control his violent impulses. Alas, he finds the calming effect this has so addictive that he goes round killing people just to enjoy being restrained. Little seen today, Mike Hodges‘ adaptation of The Andromeda Strain/Jurassic Park author Michael Crichton‘s cautionary techno-thriller was championed by the likes of Stanley Kubrick and Terrence Malick.

He’ll be present to introduce this rare screening of his own 35mm director’s cut of the film as part of the Bristol UNESCO City of Film strand of Cinema Rediscovered.
