Square Food Pop-up – The Winter Edition
The Square Food Foundation have planned four special pop-up suppers at creative hub, cafe and gallery Spike Island, aimed at celebrating the seasons.
Each season will focus on the cuisine of a specific location. For this particular evening, chef Barny Houghton will focus on winter in Somerset. Alongside his four course menu, Barny will be giving a cooking demonstration. Another cooking demonstration and a talk on gamekeeping will be presented by a Somerset gamekeeper. The event will include a glass of bandol to be paired with the venison, plus a glass of wine.

- Roast saddle of venison, winter vegetables
- Montgommery’s Cheddar
- Apple tart with apple brandy ice cream
Note that vegan and vegetarian food is available on request at the booking stage.
