NomNom SnapSnap promises to be Bristol’s first and only food and photography tour.

“We’ll eat loads and take epic food porn content along the way,” says organiser Thom Whitchurch, founder of Foozie, which before closing used to be well-known for running unique food and drink events such as Tiny Cookery School.

Thom will be sharing lots of tips and tricks as participants try dishes from the menus at The Athenian at Wapping Wharf, Pata Negra on Corn Street, Burger Theory on St Stephen’s Street and Mrs Potts Chocolate House on Park Street.

The event will focus on different ways of taking great photos of food in restaurants, as well as using photography tools including tripods and remote shutters.

Thom adds: “After we’ve visited all places and we’re totally full, we’ll head to a bar where I’ll give you loads more tips on editing on your phone. We’ll also cover how you can create a distinctive style of your own and best practice for growing your Instagram following.

“And trust me, you won’t be going home hungry!”
