In Our Hands: a food sovereignty banquet & film screening
A five-course banquet cooked by five South West chefs will be followed by a screening of In Our Hands, a documentary which tells the story of a band of farmers and food producers with the courage to do things differently, returning to a healthier and more sustainable way of producing our food.
Food will come by way of Josh Eggleton of The Pony & Trap, Sam Leach of Birch, Gelf Alderson of River Cottage, Lara Lindsay of Dela and Tom Hunt of Poco.
The menu will tell story of the film, and use ingredients from some of the producers shown in the film as well as produce from some of Bristol’s grassroots growers.

Danny Walker of Psychopomp will be crafting a welcome cocktail using a unique, small batch gin made in collaboration with Poco from their waste organic lemon zest and foraged botanicals.
