The show is opened by the singer, songwriter and guitarist Ewan McLennan, a Bristol-resident with Scottish folk-roots whose latest project was a radical collaboration with the writer and activist George Monbiot. Yola Carter, who closes the show with her band, is a fabulous singer, songwriter and producer with a host of local connections whose country, soul and gospel-flavoured music has already established a formidable reputation in the USA.
