Benjamin Zephaniah, pioneering dub poet, writer, social commentator and music maker has teamed up with renowned producer & engineer, The Sea (Toots & The Maytals, Rodney P, Massive Attack,The Wailers, Buju Banton) and created the incredibly timely album Revolutionary Minds.
As a live Entity, the five strong Revolutionary Minds expertly provide rich, upbeat, hypnotic dub rhythms behind Benjamin’s beloved vocal and lyrical mastery. Amongst these backing vocals are supplied by Amy True, an artist in her own right she is fast becoming one of the most influential and talked about personalities in the UK Hip Hop scene. Revolutionary Minds as a body of work tackles the indigestible topic of the world we live in today, political and economic corruption, global warming, rampant racism and fascist patriarchy.
