Simple Things is back for its seventh year with a characteristically adventurous line-up utilising a diverse network of Bristol’s best venues. Attracting music lovers from across the country, SimpleThings is a collaboration between some of Bristol’s leading promoters. This year the event returns to the city’s most loved venues with over ten stages scattered across the city centre.
Celebrated for its innovative and risk-taking curation, Simple Things has always moved beyond musical boundaries to provide a huge array of sounds and styles – take last year’s mixture of noise-rap, post-punk, grime, ‘late night pop dungeons’, and a vibrant spectrum of electronic music. With first artists announced including Daphni, Juan Atkins, IDLES, the London Afrobeat Orchestra performing Talking Heads and much more, Simple Things 2017 will provide ample opportunities to redraw your musical horizons.
