Poppy Ajudha
Poppy Ajudha is a 23 year old singer songwriter from south London, currently on her first UK tour after releasing her first EP ‘FEMME’, in 2018. Ajudha is a very talented and creative artist who uses music to convey messages to her audience, previously addressing modern day issues relating to feminism, class, race and gender. She uses the opportunity to empower women by making them socially aware through her lyrics.
Ajudha’s songs are highly influenced by her upbringing of being surrounded by soul and reggae music. She is now reinventing the UK Jazz scene both solo and with her 6 piece band. One of her most popular songs ‘Love Falls Down’, has over 60,000 views on her official You Tube channel. She also featured on ‘A COLORS SHOW’ two years ago performing the same song in a acoustic version and it has a massive 898,000 views so far.
