SLØTFACE
Stavanger’s Norwegian group has come a long way to plant their fiery flag on Bristol soil at the Louisiana venue.
Blasting the patriarchy with infamous feminist tracks such as`Nancy Drew` in their first album Try Not To Freak Out released in 2017 or the single`Sponge State` in their 2016 EP, the quartet, composed of Haley Shea at the vocals, Tor-Arne Vikingstad at the guitar, Lasse Lokøy at the bass and Nils Jørgen Nilsen at the drums, is on a UK tour the whole month of March, after the delivering on 2020 of their second album Sorry For The Late Reply.
With this new album, more indie than their previous pop-punk LP, SLØTFACE still manages to discuss contemporary issues such as pollution or consumerism in their own productive form. All in all, a band in the era of time.
