After a staggering twenty-seven years in the business, The Divine Comedy and their inimitable brand of tearful and witty chamber pop remain something of a life affirming joy. The band from Northern Ireland, formed by Neil Hannon in 1989 will be bringing material new and old back to Colston Hall. As chief songwriter and the creative force behind the music, Hannon has been the only constant member of the band, which has evolved through several different styles, shapes and sizes during its long lifespan.
