The Spratleys Japs

Formed by Cardiacs leader, Tim Smith, The Spratleys Japs are an enigmatic branch of the Cardiacs families’ psychedelic rock. It was suggested that the band was entirely fictional as they had never played live and following the double stroke and near death of Tim Smith the idea that fans would never get that opportunity increased. However in 2016, friends and former band members pulled together to perform and will do so again at The Exchange.
