Labelled as the ‘rapper’s rapper’ Murs is one of the most successful and prolific independent rappers ever. First picking up a mic in secondary school, Murs, founded ‘3 Melancholy Gypsys’ before spending some time with influential West Coast group, Living Legends.

After going solo he released a selection of underground classics including the critically acclaimed, ‘Murs for President’. 2017’s, ‘Captain California’ built on the momentum of his acclaim and reached the top 25 of the independent albums chart.
