Rock icon and two-time Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood plays Colston Hall in one of only two special UK tour dates this July. Winwood has been making music for more than 50 years right from his teens he enjoyed chart success with the Spencer Davis Group in the mid-60s before co-founding the group Traffic and subsequently joining supergroup Blind Faith with Cream’s Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker and former Family bassist Rick Grech. Over the past couple of decades Winwood has enjoyed a highly successful solo career and continues to be one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most respected innovators, continually creating and performing new and exciting material.
