Minotaur Sound launched as an independent, Bristol based predominantly Techno Club night in February 2016 at The Island Police Cells in Bristol. Following collaboration with eclectic, local performers and the leverage of bringing Illy Noize (Joyfriend) from Berlin for his UK debut, the night sold out. Fans and followers have been pushing for a second night since then and planning for Minotaur Sound #2 in May 2017 is now full steam ahead.
Minotaur Sound #2 is thrilled to headline DJ/Producer Denis Horvat for what will be his Bristol debut. Having
seen releases on labels including Innervisions, AEON Audio and Exit Strategy, as well as playing huge slots at the likes of ADE, Off Sonar and Avant Garde Mosaic, Denis has already made some stellar achievements. Horvat has fast established himself as a master of spinning sets that blend myriad sounds, weaving techno into deep house, tech, afro house and much more.
Denis will be supported by an array of talented DJs including DJ/Producer Lee Williams – signed up to EJ Underground Records and runs the much coveted Terminal club night in Bournemouth. Terminal has been delighting discerning South Coast techno lovers for 5 years. Minotaur Sound #2 is not limiting itself to Techno this time. A smaller second room will also allow Minotaur guests to dip into drum and bass whenever they feel like changing the musical vibe.
