Born in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa guitarist and singer Sibusile Xaba is a spokesman for the latest generation of Macomb musicians, merging warrior chants with the ecstatic exorcism and healing rituals of the Zulu nation. His rich voice tells powerful stories while his fingers coax rolling Mbaqanga music from his guitar.
