Sri Lanka play Pakistan in the first of three Cricket World Cup matches held in Bristol.

Following a disappointing performance in the one day international against South Africa, Sri Lanka have revamped their squad for the competition, with new captain Dimuth Karunaratne leading the team.

Pakistan are ranked sixth in the world rankings coming into the competition.  They are the current holders of the ICC Champions Trophy.
