“Cheerly to sea; the signs of war advance:
No king of England, if not king of France…”
Let Librarian Theatre ‘on your imaginary forces work’, as they bring the legendary Siege of Harfleur and Battle of Agincourt to life in their own unique way this summer: amongst the bookshelves of libraries around Bristol.
Set in the round with a minimal design and live backing from a musician, this dynamic ‘rapid-retelling’ of Henry V is performed by just two actors. But who is to play the warrior king? Find out on the night…
Established in 2015 by performers Kelly Eva-May and Tom Cuthbertson and funded by Arts Council England, Librarian Theatre work alongside the library sector to produce library tours of innovative plays, specifically tailored to perform among the bookshelves. This is their fourth production.
