“Status takes as its starting point the UK Prime Minister’s assertion that if you believe you are a citizen of the world, you are a citizen of nowhere.

“Drawing on globe-spanning conversations about national identity, and incorporating songs as well as stories, Status is about running away from the national story you’re given and whether that impulse of attempted escape – for those privileged enough to consider it – is a useful one, or a rejection of responsibility open only to the few.”

Oct 11-12, 7.30pm, from £12. 80 mins, ages 14+. For more info, visit www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com/shows/status
