The Paper Man

Date: Thursday, Jan 24 2019 - Sunday, Jan 27 2019
Venue: Tobacco Factory Theatres

The legendarily anarchic Improbable return to Bristol with The Paper Man, an intriguing true story of political protest, power and football.

Improvisation impresarios, never shy to tackle the sensitive social and cultural complexities that affect us all, Improbable leave audiences surprised, unsettled and hugely entertained.

In 1938, Austrian football star Matthias Sindelar humiliated the Nazi regime by refusing to throw a match. A few months later, he was dead. Accident, suicide or execution? Inspirational little guy or yet another man and his ego? Who cares?
