The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Date: Tuesday, Jun 13 2017 - Saturday, Jun 17 2017
Venue: Hippodrome

The National Theatre’s internationally acclaimed production returns.

This innovative drama is based on Mark Haddon’s award-winning novel, and has been adapted for the stage by award-winning playwright Simon Stephens and directed by Olivier and Tony Award®-winning Director Marianne Elliot. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is the winner of seven 2013 Olivier Awards and five 2015 Tony Awards, including ‘Best Play’.

Christopher, 15 years old, has an extraordinary brain – exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. When he falls under the suspicion of killing Mrs Shears’ dog, it takes him on a journey that upturns his world.
