Bristol-based theatre company The Plasticine Men present their latest devised show.
Tracing the journey of the creation of a dazzling advertising campaign to launch a new SUV in India, Engine Brake navigates questions of growth, progress, and the dreams that connect us.
TPM’s Simon Day comments “at its heart, the show is exploring what it means to be English today in a global world, so bringing as broad a range of experiences of India and England as possible into the room has been fundamental to the creative journey”.
is needed now More than ever
The Plasticine Men state an aim “to work with brilliant artists from a range of disciplines”, and Engine Brake is no exception, with collaborators including highly respected artists Arun Ghosh and Graeme Rose.
