Shakes’beer’ Promenade
- Artists
- Clifton Amateur Dramatic Society, CADS Bristol
Last year, for the first time, Clifton Amateur Dramatic Society took to the streets of Clifton Village for a promenade performance in honour of Shakespeare’s birthday. It was such a success that they have decided to do it again this year. This year – all is fair in love and war in Clifton Village. From star-crossed lovers to dastardly kings, the show will include some of the most-loved Shakespearian scenes of romance, tragedy, and history.
Apr 22 & 23, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm each day, £8/£5 children. Meet at The Bristol FRINGE, 32 Princess Victoria Street, Clifton Village, BS8 4BZ.
Shakes’beer’ Promenade is produced with the help of Friends of Clifton Centre and Library (FoCCaL) – tickets are also available in person from Clifton Library.
