First look inside new Bianchis group venue
It seems industrial business parks are the place to open a hospitality business these days. Just two weeks after Wiper and True opened their beautifully landscaped oasis in City Business Park, the Bianchis group have launched their latest venture just up the road in St Gabriel’s business park.
Centrale may look new, but the Bianchis group have been operating out of Easton for some time now. Until recently, the space has been used exclusively as a prep kitchen producing ingredients and dishes for the Bianchis group restaurants. Recently, the unit has been converted to create a space around the kitchen for a bar and seating area over two floors.

Centrale has been kitted out in classic Bianchis style.
The Bianchis team intend Centrale to be as flexible a space as possible. Business development manager and official helper-outer Mitch said “the space will be food led, we’re working with some well-known people in the Bristol food and drink scene to bring some exciting ideas to the table. We’ve got Pizza Bianchi, Josh Eggleton, Peter Sanchez-Iglesias and the team behind Nutmeg involved.
is needed now More than ever
“We’re also launching a deli here soon which will be open Monday to Friday 12-3”.
The team already have a few private events booked in, and it’s clear Centrale will be a hit with anyone looking for a flexible events space, especially as they prefer to charge a minimum spend rather than a venue hire fee.

Upstairs there is room for seating which could be used for private dinners or parties, with a projector which on Sunday was showing the Euros!
Centrale is still home to the prep kitchen, from where the Bianchis team produced and distributed 148,000 meals for the vulnerable living during the height of coronavirus.

Centrale will be open all year round, but the outside space lends itself very well to sunny afternoons.

Serving a range of drinks incluing Peroni and Cornish Orchards on tap, Aperol Spritz, wines, coffee, softs and spirits – Centrale has got something for everyone.

Once inside Centrale it’s easy to forget you’re in a business park.
Centrale’s reluctance to pin itself down to being any particular type of venue is certainly exciting, and I look forward to seeing what happens with the space next. To stay up to date and hear about future events, I’d recommend following the crew on Instagram.
