The family-friendly food fest, which runs from 10am to 5pm on March 26 and 27, brings together 30 chocolate exhibitors with chocolate demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, competitions, a History of Chocolate exhibit and a prosecco and craft ale bar for the adults.

Entry is £4 on the day, £3 in advance and free for children under age 13.

“Unknown to many, Bristol is the birthplace of the very first chocolate Easter egg,” says Festival co-director Sophie Bowden. “The city has a long standing affiliation with chocolate, being home to legends of the chocolate world including Joseph Fry and Sons, Elizabeth Shaw and, more recently, Guilbert’s.”

Want to win free tickets to the Taste Chocolate festival? Taste Chocolate is giving away three pairs of day tickets through the Bristol24/7 website.

The tickets can be used on either day of the festival (March 26 or March 27). Winners, be sure to come to the advance ticket line on whichever day you choose. There will be no physical tickets – your name will be on the festival guest list.
