All three were arrested on Saturday night on suspicion of attempted murder after a 34-year-old man was shot once in the shoulder in All Hallows Road, at about 2am on Saturday.

Police have now recovered the red Peugeot 206 they were trying to trace in connection with the incident which is now undergoing a full forensic examination. It was found in the Montpelier area of Bristol.

A spokesman reissued an appeal for information on Tuesday. They said: “We’re continuing to appeal for witnesses. If anyone was at the Jolly Roger pub in Easton on Friday night or the early hours of Saturday morning and saw any part of this incident, please call 101 and quote reference 5216075302.”

If you don’t want to speak to the police, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They don’t ask for your name and they never trace your call. You can also visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
