Ideas platform asks Bristol ‘what next?’
Ideas sharing platform iDeeter describes itself as ‘a human powered Google’ and a ‘Twitter for ideas’, looking for the most innovative solutions to given problems by tapping into the power of the crowd.
The start-up has been growing steadily since its launch in Bristol earlier this year, seeking to help companies and community organisations to fresh, ‘open source’ ideas from the community.
Following the Brexit result, iDeeter is asking the public to share what they think is next for Britain, Europe and Britain’s place in the world.
is needed now More than ever
“I woke up this morning, as the co-founder of a fairly early stage start-up with big plans, initially very worried about our prospects in a gloomy new economic climate,” says co-founder Niall Jones. “There will also now be many challenges ahead where harnessing the best thinking of as many people as possible will be needed, and I absolutely see a role for iDeeter in that.”
“I’ve setup a post-Brexit public challenge on the iDeeter platform – an ‘open, online creativity referendum’ in a sense – pushing for insights and ideas from everyone about what might be next for Britain, Europe and Britain’s place in the World.
“While emotions are running high and with such a diverse array of valuable creative views out there it seems a great time.”
Ideas – or ‘ideets’ – can be submitted by anyone and are then subject to rating so that the best rise to the surface. Share the challenge and submit your ideas at http://www.ideeter.com/challenges/brexit-what-next-for-britain-europe-and-its-place-in-the-world-134
