Possible sightings of missing mum and son

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Jun 10, 2015

A missing mum is believed to be in hiding with her three-year-old son after a judge ruled he should be handed over to his father.

Rebecca Minnock, 35, fled her home in Highbridge, Somerset, with son Ethan two weeks ago following a court order that he should live with his father Roger Williams in Burnham-on-Sea.

The pair have not been since May 26 after failing to turn up for an appointment in Bristol.

The investigation has now been widened, with possible sightings of Rebecca – who likes to be known as Becky – in Cheltenham and also the Birmingham area.

DCI Marie Wright said: “It is fairly unusual for a court to lift the reporting restrictions, allowing us to act as their agents and continue the search for Becky and her son.

“Since they were last seen in Taunton on May 26, we have reports that they have been spotted in the Cheltenham area and more recently in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands.

“We are keen to hear from Becky or anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact us.”
