Bristol Zoo to host Pokemon Go evening
Bristol Zoo is opening its doors for an exclusive evening of Pokemon Go on Wednesday, July 27.
Gaming enthusiasts can hunt for the virtual creatures in the grounds of the zoo for two hours, making use of 12 PokeStops and battling in the gym.
PokeMasters can gain entrance to the zoo for a suggested donation of £3.
“We’re seeing more and more people playing the game while walking around the zoo”, explains Owain Cassidy, head of marketing and development.
Bristol Zoo are confident of the evening being a success as the terrain of the area lends itself well to catching Pokemon.
Cassidy adds that the zoo’s terrain is perfect for Pokemon hunting: “As we have a mixture of open grassy areas, as well as areas with water, people are likely to find a great range of land and water-dwelling creatures to catch and send to battle.”
